Permits

Gorilla permits

Rwanda, Uganda and Congo each issue their own gorilla permits, in limited numbers, for a named person on a named day. Feral Trips requests the permit after you confirm — we do not hold a stack of unnamed permits.

The park sets the fee and can change it. A package price on this site is a starting safari price. Treat the permit as included only when your written quote says so. Once a permit is issued it is often non-refundable, even if you cancel the rest of the trip.

Trekking is a walk in steep forest. The hour with the gorillas is short. The walk to find them is not. Tell the desk about knees, altitude and children before a permit is bought.
