Day 1
Kigali
Arrive Kigali. A short city orientation if you land early.
Day 2
Volcanoes
Drive north to the volcanoes. Lodge with a view of the Virunga chain.
Day 3
Gorilla trek
Trek a habituated family. The afternoon is deliberately empty.
Day 4
On to Tanzania
Transfer toward Arusha by road and air, as the day’s flights allow.
Days 5–8
Northern circuit
Tarangire, Serengeti and a crater day. Nights in small camps.
Day 9
Depart Arusha
Airport transfer for your onward flight.
