How the days go

1. Day 1

   Arusha

   Meet your guide at Kilimanjaro airport and settle into an Arusha lodge.

2. Day 2

   Tarangire

   Full day among Tarangire’s elephant herds and seasonal swamps. Lodge or tented camp on the plan, with meals as listed for that night.

3. Day 3

   Lake Manyara

   Groundwater forest, the hippo-filled lake shore, and a look for tree-climbing lions.

4. Days 4–6

   Serengeti

   Three nights in the Serengeti with morning and afternoon drives. Your guide follows the cats, not a convoy.

5. Day 7

   Ngorongoro

   Descend into the crater for a picnic day, then climb out toward Arusha.

6. Days 8–10

   Zanzibar

   Fly to the island. Stone Town alleys, a dhow if the sea allows, and two beach nights.

7. Day 11

   Departure

   Transfer for your onward flight. International tickets are not included.
